Food, glorious food! Part One | UNC Bucket List

Many of the items on my UNC Bucket List include eating food! Lots of different kinds of amazing food located in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area!

I’ve already shared my Yopo experience with you, which was no. 4 on the list. But here is a look at some of the other incredible things I’ve been eating during my time here in Chapel Hill so far. There’s still quite a few more to come!

No. 7: Eat a cheddar-chicken biscuit at Time Out after 2 a.m.

The “Tar Heel Special!” Nothing better than fried chicken on a biscuit after a night out… and it definitely tastes better at 2am!

No. 9: Eat lunch at the counter of Sutton’s Drug Store

“A Carolina Tradition Since 1923.” One of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had, with free soft drink refills and overwhelming Tar Heel pride! You’re eyes will never get bored looking around Sutton’s.

No. 12: Eat breakfast at Ye Olde Waffle Shop

Sunday brunch doesn’t get much better than this! It’s definitely worth waiting in line for!

No. 43: Eat traditional Southern food at Mama Dips

My first ever experience of traditional Southern food! Sweet potato biscuits will forever have a place in my heart.

No. 50: Eat cheese fries at Linda’s on Franklin Street

A place I will definitely go back to! The burger and the fries were amazing! Such an awesome vibe with cool friendly staff and I’m excited to try some yummy looking cocktails from the menu!
